The Crown: The Official Companion, Volume 2: Political Scandal, Personal Struggle, and the Years That Defined Elizabeth II (1956-1977) by Robert Lacey

Not as good as the first volume. The first volume recapped the episode a d then added to your understanding of the history. This second volume recounted the episode throughout the chapter while just occasionally making add-ins about the filmmaking and direction of the show with occasional statements about what is true and what is not. The first volume felt like it added to the experience of the show with historical accounts of the events and photograph comparisons of the events. This second volume just fell short and didn't add much to the experience of watching the show. Much more of a money-grab rather than something for the fans.
