Gorgeous and timeless tale of growing up.  Big love for the Nolan family and for their little corner of Brooklyn. A nostalgic read, though I haven’t read it before, it felt familiar.  The style was very simple and not flowery and for some reason that just truly worked.  Like a good loaf of bread. No frills.  I can see why this novel endures.  I imagine I’ll revisit it.  Charming, heartfelt, honestly very dear book.
