People kept telling me to read this book because it was so beautiful etc. I actually found it was very triggering and was disappointed no one gave any warnings before hand. The content felt like “trauma porn”, just piling trigger after trigger on without any reason for it. It at points almost felt pro-ana aswell?? The writing didn’t redeem this for me either - I found it pedestrian and clunky.
