Did not finish book. Stopped at 20%.

 Have to dnf it. I cannot stand the main male character..he's boring from his personality to sex (this scene made me CRINGE!! He's proud of it while the female MC can only respond with : "I guess we've done it, then"😵😖). I feel sorry for his newlywed wife. They married young..tried to have a romantic honeymoon in an area (she remembered bring lively) only to find out they came the wrong time of the year. They were going to head back home until they spot cars parked at this house down the street. Like creeps they walk past the house a couple times and agree (I think the next day) to introduce themselves. Of course it ends up being a girl the MC female grew up with and didn't like.


They should have taken their lame a**es home but the MC male is too prideful to leave & don't want to disappoint their mom's by having a short honeymoon. While the female MC basically KNOWS they should: leave, stay away, AND have ended this honeymoon a LONG TIME AGO!!

It just keeps going downhill & that's only about 50 pages in. I'm out✌
