Damaged Goods by Talia Hibbert

4.0

There are definite dark aspects to this book, but they're handled very well and add to the individual emotional arcs of Laura and Samir. I REALLY loved Samir's gentle way of allowing Laura the space she needed to tell him what she was comfortable with and when. He never pressures her about anything.
SpoilerEven wondering how she's doing with the baby - he simply buys his own baby book to read up about it. Instead of trying to make her feel bad for not including him. Or stressing her out with his questions.
