Really well fleshed out dark academia/urban fantasy. The world building was fantastic, the powers and magic and world all integrated into eachother seamlessly.
The characters were beautifully flawed and so loveable. I rooted for everyone (yes, even Callum). And the twist! I thought I saw it coming; I caught enough to feel smug; but there are more layers than I could have guessed.
As typical with Dark Academia stories, there are a few information dumps, but the writing was so well done that it's unlikely you will be skimming or speed reading fast enough to overlook.
This book is worth the hype.
