I find it really difficult to give grace to characters who are cops, even though I'm the one who chooses to read these mystery/procedurals - Colly fucked up so many times and still managed to figure it out mostly because she knew the family involved.
The writing was still engaging enough to keep me going & I always feel vindicated when my choice in murderer is correct. I can tell when the vibes are off.
