This was a reread as I needed a fairytale retelling for a prompt and I remember enjoying this one. I still really enjoy this one and how it changes certain aspects of the fairytales we are familiar with. I really enjoy how it has a Muslim MC as I am sure so many little girls would be able to relate to that and I am glad to see that representation in a children’s book. The stories are entertaining, and I really like the authors twist on the stories. I would definitely recommend this one.
