Anne's House of Dreams by L.M. Montgomery
5.0

ughh I’m absolutely in love with this book.
Lucy Mauds characters are alway so eccentric and interesting but this one has so many really good ones, despite there being only like 5 major ones.
HOW DOES IT FEEL GILBERT AND ANNE SHIPPERS, TO KNOW THEYRE FINALLY MARRIED?! I qualify as that, so I’ll say it: ITS SO GOOD.
Miss Cornelia? She really slays. Although I found it interesting that on several occasions Lucy Maud Montgomery pointed out the fact that the people she “raked” weren’t half as bad as she said they were. Somehow this is oddly comforting? Guess I’m a people pleaser.
ALL MY LOVE FOR CAPTIN JIM. I really wish the life book was a real book. IMAGINE.
LESLIE. I was going to say poor Leslie, but remember, she doesn’t let anyone pity her. Her character development was the best thing I ever seen. Read, I guess.
my darling little Joyce.
