Purity by Jonathan Franzen

reflective slow-paced

I’m pretty obsessed with molding my worldview based off sullen characters in postmodernist fiction. Like Pip is so me with her socialist shell but Dickensian core (because of her inclinations towards generational wealth). A definite departure from The Corrections but is still such blueprint Franzen in its precocity and depth and neuroses. Hell of a page turner for a book that often reads like waltzing through tar.
