God Emperor of Dune by Frank Herbert

5.0

After reading reviews around, it looked like Dune should have stayed as a trilogy and Mr. Herbert should have stopped his journey in Children.

Well, I already enjoyed previous books so much so I gave God Emperor a try and TBH this is way better than Children and Messiah.

God Emperor goes hardcore in the philosophy aspect of the series and writes a deep text on politics, freedom and purpose where Leto II, a worm-human 3.5k years old emperor plots the rebellion of its own government to save humanity from itself. This sounds outerly boring and complicated but trust me and go for it as the action, characters and situations are way better executed than previous two books. A masterpiece
