A 5-star read for me but not one of my favorite books.

As you knoooow this series (and Six of Crows) is getting a tv show next month and I had to ✨hurry✨ and grab this book because I definitely want to be prepared by then.

It was a very last minute decision to start SaB because I never intended to read it tbh. I had always planned to only read Six of Crows (the author’s other series) because everyone talks about how boring and superficial SaB is in comparison to SoC.

I guess my expectations were on the bottom, really, because I loved this book. It’s not that it was a masterpiece, but when comparing with the 4-star rating books I’ve read, I feel I’ve loved this one much more?
