I never read horror but after following the author on TT for a while I had learned enough about the book that I felt like I could handle this cozy horror. I'm so glad I gave it a chance because I loved it. There is gore, but I didn't get scared at all. This was a great take on vampire lore and after reading a ton of vampire books this was a fresh take. I can't wait to keep reading this series.
