On These Wicked Shores by Katherine Quinn
5.0
First off, I want to thank the author for an ARC of On These Wicked Shores. This book was a wild ride!
I thought I liked the first book- the sequel set this book firmly as a favorite series of mine!
On These Wicked Shores has a much darker tone than the first book. It takes place a few months after the events of The Girl Who Belonged to the Sea. Bash and Margrete, along with a few other familiar faces, set off to right the wrongs that took place at the end of the first book but are quickly shipwrecked on a mysterious island on which they have to take part in 3 deadly tasks.
Right off the bat, it was apparent that all is not as it seems with Bash and I really enjoyed reading the chapters from his POV. We learn so much more about our characters and their true histories that they may- or may not- be aware of.
And those last couple of chapters- my mind is still reeling and I am NOT okay.
I’m going to need book three ASAP!
