The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón

5.0

Toxic, overwhelming, and full of despair all of which engulfed to form a ladder to the heights of wisdom. I was ruined by this book, I ruined this book. I was reshaped and thunderstruck by it. I'm so glad I read it. I'm more glad it's over. The fact that it was a readalong made the experience a hell of a lot more worthwhile. Beyond the outstanding literature, this story will stand out as one of, if not my all-time, favorite reading experiences.
