The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

5.0

I have to say that I fought against this book for years. My friend Sabrina recommended it like 5 years ago and all my effort to like this book was in vein back then.
Until a few days ago, when everyone was freaking out about the last movie and every single person was like: "Why don't you like The Hunger Games? It's like Divergent!", I decided to finally read it, and I was amazed how captivating it is. In spite of I have spoiled the entire triology all over the years, I really enjoyed the story, the characters and the writing style.
Probably, the reason why I hated it years ago was beacuse I wasn't so into dystopia like I am now.

The table is turned now, and I love this stupid book while my friend hates it... (I'm looking at you Sabrina Gandulfo)
