The best in the Witcher series by far. Geralt forming his fellowship and travelling for most of the book is so enjoyable to read and the cast of characters are perfect. It feels like a satisfying build up from the previous books. Even the few sections that focus on other events are entertaining. I don't feel the next books really meet the heights of this one, even if most of the storytelling is smaller in scale. At least Ciri's sections get more interesting after this book...
