I loved this graphic novel adaptation of The Great Gatsby, which has me wanting to read the original now! What took me into the story the most was the commentary on excess, ennui, and morality—how the glittering surface belies a rotten interior. 

Overall, would recommend this adaption because the water colour art in this edition are so stunning and totally have blown my mind! I would just spend countless minutes staring at the art, immersed in the scene, which really amplified the story. I need to read more graphic novels now by this illustrator!
