Lucky for Good by Susan Patron

5.0

This was quite possibly the best of the trilogy. I just loved this final book that wraps everything up, if not perfectly, then at least fairly neatly. Though Brigitte's cafe is shut down due to health code violations, the community, and even the health inspector, band together to find a way to fix the problems. In the meantime, Lucky and Lincoln turn an enemy into a friend, and Lucky researches her family tree and tries to track down her elusive father. Miles struggles to come to terms with his mother's return; her newly found faith has enabled her to overcome her addictions and be a mom to him, but also prevents him from embracing the science books he loves to read, since much of the information is against her beliefs. There's a hint that Pete the geologist, who's falling for Brigitte, may become a bigger part of Lucky's life. And might Lucky and Lincoln become more than friends?
