3.5 ⭐️ but i rounded up

honestly it took me like a month to read this book bc i couldn’t get into it at first. the beginning isn’t bad by any means!! it’s so well written. i was just kind of slogging through wondering when something more exciting was going to happen i guess?

but then it DID and it took me maybe two days to read the second half of this book because i had to know what happened in the end now.

it’s like when someone tells you a tv show is good you just “have to get through season one”. it was all getting to know Addie and her story, which is needed but wasn’t very gripping to me until we met Henry and there was more at stake.

i adored the ending!! i think it made a lot of sense for the story and the characters.

overall, would recommend to a friend!
