“Sometimes, even when you start with the last page and you think you know everything, a book finds a way to surprise you.”

Pretty much every review that I've seen has said that they believe the author wrote this for them. Well I guess that must mean Emily Henry is a witch or something because I felt this book deep into my bones. This one's for the overachieving older sisters, career-driven Miranda Hobbs', and the book lovers of the world and I absolutely adored it. Nora felt like such a real and relatable character, and I loved the ways she defied the stereotypes of a typical romance heroine (and paid homage to that within the book).

Nora and Charlie are truly the written definition of soulmates and I'm now currently in search of a man who I could banter as well with...everything about them literally gave me butterflies. Besides the romance, this book was truly a tribute to all the Book Lovers™ out there. As someone who is interested in editorial and publishing as a career, this story gave me so much insight into that. I loved the way that books of course connected Nora and Charlie, Nora's family together, and just all the little breadcrumbs about books and book culture. Unlike People We Meet On Vacation, it didn't feel predictable--especially within the scope of Nora and Libby's relationship and their storyline. And OMG don't get me started on the Beach Read references!!!

Book Lovers is one of those books that you can't really find much wrong with. It was SO much more than a romance, and I loved the way that Emily Henry wove all of the pieces of this story together and all the little details that were included. It exceeded my expectations in every way possible and I know I'll be thinking about it forever.
