Losers Take All
by David Klass
It would not surprise me if some enterprising movie person turned this into a cheesy teen movie. The story has serious cinematic potential.
The writing suffers a bit from telling rather than showing, but it's not enough to be more than a minor nuisance. The story actually raises some interesting questions about the nature of competitive sports, and I enjoyed the fact that this was narrated by a kid caught between the two sides so that you could better understand both sides of the issue.
