𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙨, 𝙁𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙚𝙣.
Fallon, a magicless halfling with an affinity for animals, finds herself on an impossible quest after an oracle predicts a regal future.
I'll be honest, for the majority of this book I wanted to strangle Fallon.
She's hopelessly in love with Dante, who I hate btw, and is so blinded by her feelings for this man who is 10000% using her, and goes off on this quest thinking she'll be his queen once she frees these crows and puts him on the throne.
Thankfully along the way the wool gets snatched off her eyes and she sees what a POS Dante is, but I foresee her still being a naïve little walnut (I hope I'm wrong though). There's still so much we (and Fallon) don't know about what's going on, but despite being irritated with Fallon, I really enjoyed this and cannot wait to dive into the rest of the series!
