One of my many free E-books that I'm slowly working my way through.
I almost put this away in the beginning, but it picked up after a few chapters. When our MCs embark on their journey I enjoyed their banter and how their relationship developed.
The language was fast paced but I didn't mind.
What I liked less:
-I gave a hard time understanding how these different cultures ended up taking sexual slaves to ensure their survival, instead of finding ways to work together.
- Why was this one ~150 pages book with a cliffhanger when book two is ~200 pages. Now it just felt like I read half a book.
