Another dark and soulful addition to the series. I think the reason I enjoy these is that I find Jude to be restful, somehow. She's damaged and broken and pushes on anyway, and does what needs to be done even when it runs up against her past trauma. I do wonder if

every volume will contain a new revelation about her father and/or addition to her family

but, eh, so far it's staying interesting, at least.
