An Echo in the Sorrow by Hailey Turner
5.0
This series is one of my favorites. I'm so hooked. I've been waiting for this showdown between the god packs for eons it feels like. Of course the false pack would throw their hand in with the demons and Patrick's evil father and the Dominion Sect. Things were bound to come out about Patrick's past and it all comes to a head in this story. His ties to the pack throw everything into chaos as his job is on a collision course with the activities of the old New York City god pack.
I adore Jono and Patrick together. They're such a strong couple. Of course this time around the gods are making life even more difficult for Patrick. The number of pantheons appearing keeps increasing and everything is coming to a head. Everyone is choosing sides and the poor humans are just the ones caught in the crossfire. Wade is absolutely still my favorite character and I live for moments with him. He's such a teenager, but also such a loyal guy. He'd do anything for Jono and Patrick, face any fear, and he has such a caring soul even if it's hid under eons of dragon avarice.
Loved how this one played out and I was hooked from page one. There's a lot of action all over the place here as everything is picking up pace. Can't wait for the conclusion of everything that we know is coming.
