Every Seventh Wave by Daniel Glattauer
3.0
I might have read this too quickly after finishing the first book, but it was harder to read. I knew the main female character was a bit too much too handle, but here she just seemed annoying and truly unlikeable. The storyline seemed to be "how much torture can we inflict on each other." At least with the first book you got to feel them falling in love which excuses the angst, but this was just difficult to get through.
After you read the first one you absolutely need to know how the story ends so I won't say don't pick this up as well...it's necessary.
