Aliens Vs. Predator by Randy Stradley, Phill Norwood

5.0

It is crazy to look back and realize I first read this when I was 10 years old. A 30th Anniversary Edition was the perfect excuse to reread one of my favorite Sci-Fi stories. This work does such a fantastic job of taking the properties from two acclaimed franchises and put them together into a new, fresh story. The tropes in here seem over-trod because they have become so. The isolation, the fear, the allyship of unaligned pieces of a violent conflict; they all shine here in fantastic, well-considered writing. I will continue to come back to this every few years.
