Feminists Don't Wear Pink (And Other Lies): Amazing Women on What the F-Word Means to Them by Scarlett Curtis
5.0
I absolutely adored this book. An enlightening but non-threatening approach to the conversation of feminism.
Scarlett Curtis’ notations surrounding the work were so eloquent and yet so relatable. I cried at Keira Knightley’s writing which gave such emotional and beautiful narrative to becoming a mother and thought Kat Denning’s “catastrophe alphabet” was hilarious as a fellow sufferer of paranoia.
Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to educate themselves about what it means to be a feminist in the 21st century (which should be everyone).
