The Stand by Stephen King was a exhilarating and terrifying novel that ultimately left me disappointed.
One week after a man escapes a testing facility caring a weaponized strain of the Superflue, 99 percent of the world’s population dies from the virus. In the United Sates of Amierica two major forces of good and evil gather the survivors to create a new world order.
I honestly felt that I read this novel at the perfect time. Within the covid era, The Stand was horrifingly realistic. But with medicocore writing and badly done characters Stephen King’s The Stand was a incredibly disappointing experience.

4 out of 5 Stars
Due to the fact that I lost my edition for athe Stand I no longer own a copy of the novel. I totally doubt that I will ever purchase and/or reread The Stand.
LIFE STUFF:
Eevee the Corgi is a great puppy, I love her so much. My my partner and I have just recently recovered for covid. I have not been getting that much reading done.
I am currently on the last fourth pages of Cluve Barker’s The Great and Secret Show.
