Nothing to Fear by Claire Boston

5.0

A great debut romantic suspense. With a great trauma behind her, we feel for Hannah as she's afraid all the time but she hides it away. But she has to face the fears when she's threatened despite always having her big dog with her always.

Hannah relives and goes through a lot in this book and we see her grow more and more angry, and more and more determined to face her fears and live her life. Ryan helps Hannah. He's a lovely character who has also been through a lot. While attracted to Hannah he has a young son to Felix think of, who is an adorable kid.

A tale of learning to trust again and to overcome crippling fear. It's about the love of family and great friends, and leaning on the other. But also about murder, guilt, and grief. The mounting tension in both the romance and suspense is done well.

I fell in love with the characters and the small town and am looking forward to returning.
