Fear Nothing by Lisa Gardner

5.0

Started March 15th, 2014.
Still adding more books reading but not finishing.
But this one (as usual for one of my favorite writers) is excellent and I am currently at 45% (March 17th, Monday).
The is the newest one of the D. D. Warren-Series. I still would like another Quincy one (and/or his daughter).
Grisly murders, beware (fans of Lisa Gardner should know that).
A serial killer with a very distinct MO, but long dead begs questions - is it a copycat, a family member, a fan and is the killer male or female?
Enough twists and a really sick family keep the story of the grisly killings together.
Also a couple of suspects kept me guessing whodunit with enough hints pointing to each one to guess wrong until the last twist.
So far all the books from Lisa Gardner where rated 5 stars by me and being already half in the book this will certainly be another one.
Highly recommended, like-able characters, heartbreaking Warrens injuries and her dealing with it, very real.
The showdown is a bloodbath, and then closure in the end with the next chapter.
And 5 stars it is!
Highly recommended page-turner, for fans and new readers alike.

Normally I would have read it even faster, probably a lot of it in one night, but the last few days with a full moon I did not sleep too well.
What this book shows again is how important it is, to change action with slower parts, reflecting on the decisions or on the past.
Non-stop-Action is not very readable and also not very believable, an example is the other the top [b:Spree|20608579|Spree|J A Konrath|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1392584354s/20608579.jpg|39882138].
The characters are also very deep and well written, with all their flaws and wrong turns in their live.
