Finally finally picked this up. This was a sweet and fun time from start to finish. I love the nod to magical girl shows and it twisting that on it's head. The friendships are super cute. The art is so bright and lovely. I absolutely loved the pages about Aurora and the history of how that magic and creatures came to be. The colors were beautiful. Max is also a fantastic character to follow. You really see him grow in this volume and I imagine we will see even more of that in the next volume. Great read.
