Cold Days by Jim Butcher
5.0

Dresden returns with the much-anticipated sequel. Finally "alive" again, this book focuses on the Fairy/Fae Court, dealing with Sidhe baddies and goodies alike. I've really enjoyed the Sidhe as a landscape, and this book begins the more apocalyptic feel that Butcher has been leading up to for awhile now. And lets face it, who doesn't love to see Santa Claus in all of his fae-power in a book? This certainly left me hanging, but I can't help but feel that Butcher seems to have forgotten some characters along the way, waiting only to bring them back when necessary.

**Update: third time through, first time with audible. Still my favorite. I love it. I love Mab. I love Santa Claus. I love the way this one plays out. 10/10
