The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan

Wow, that climax was not great.

SpoilerSo first of all Gaia is onscreen (aka aboveground) for all of... idk, 10 minutes? Killing her was so easy. And can we talk about the fact that Leo didn't even die? Not that I wanted him to, but if you say someone is dead, have them actually be dead man. Else I'll never believe you again, which makes my emotions less dramatic in later books if someone dies again, cause I won't believe it. You kept telling us someone would die, and then everyone survived. Feels a bit... lame.
