Heretics Anonymous by Katie Henry

Heretics Anonymous made me feel content. Throughout the book I thought that I had an issue with the characters being very one sided, however my conclusion on this is that, I read more series than stand alones. Therefore, of course they won’t be as flesh out a eight book adventure.
I picked this novel up because the premises of an atheist beginning at a Catholic school, ding! Ding! Ding! It really resonated with me & what I’m experiencing. As well as Micheal being frustrated with his Father for moving across the country, ding! Ding! Ding!

Completely irrelevant side note: why does the cover have burnt toast on it? Did I miss something? The title is obviously there, the open book being the Bible or just representing religion but the burnt toast. Why!?
