this novel is on par with The Ballad of Perilous Graves. The world building in this novel is imaginative and I could tell that this world, the Matilda, were so intricately woven together long before Solomon actually started writing this book.
The characters are well-written and developed. These characters are the best characters I’ve ever read. I love Aster and her narration. Plus unlike other sci-do novels that I’ve read (The Martian) the science was explained very well without extensive googling. It was comprehensible.
All in all, a wonderful read.
