I broke my rule for this one. Usually, I don't read or listen to more than one book from the same author in the same calendar year. But I broke it for this one because I wanted to know the conclusion of the final trilogy and because I was finding the series so enjoyable.

This is the middle book of the trilogy where things really go to shit. I won't spoil too much, but it all links back to the previous books well and delivers on the threat that the "ring entities" represent. The narration is well done, the plot moves along at a good pace, and the characters are as engaging as always.
