Deconstructing Penguins: Parents, Kids, and the Bond of Reading by Nancy Goldstone, Lawrence Goldstone

5.0

This is a great little book for guiding kids and their parents through book discussions. I admit that I'd read some of the titles discussed before, but the authors helped me understand the underlying meanings that I'd missed before as a child. And probably would miss again now as an adult. :P Reminds me of the value of talking about stories with others in order to unpack things and get a fuller appreciation of them.
