It was sweet, but I wish we would have seen more of May. It feels like we got told about her, but didn’t see much of her ourselves. As she was a huge factor in Amari’s life and decision making, it would have been nice to get to know her more. Also, seeing Kade interact more with people outside of his parents and Amari would have been nice. The way it all read made it seem like he was very isolated, but surely he has advisors, friends, etc. We didn’t even get to see him interact much with his secretary and that could have been a really cute and solid relationship to see.
