This was a really strange book but I really enjoyed it.
The horror was more on the extreme side with some graphic sexual assaults, but it was mixed with with colourful fantasy elements.
Elements of this were definitely dated but the dated elements didn't feel hateful and to be fair it holds up better than certain King stories from the era.
The characters were surprisingly three dimensional and I am pretty interested in following this series.
