I was telling my husband the other day how desperately I want him to read this series so we can talk about it together AND so he can experience the greatness of this life-changing story. I described the satisfaction of this final book, where everything comes together and makes so much sense, as eating the best, crunchiest, juiciest apple you’ve ever eaten in your life. That satisfyingly perfect bite of the freshest fruit– mmmmm. That’s what reading this entire series, especially this closer, is like. I absolutely love the parallels here to other Greek stories, the perseverance of the campers (& hunters & satyrs & centaurs & cyclops & more), and the legacy of change brought on by the end. Incredible. Incredible. Incredible.
