Ellen Hopkins is one of those authors I don’t know why I spend so much time reading. Her books are seriously not that good, but because they’re YA verse novels, they’re addictive.

This is definitely one of my least favorites of hers. There is too much going on and not enough of it is interesting. It was hard keeping track of the characters. The topics aren’t as buzzy as those in her superior books. This one deals largely with sex and relationships. She also dabbles in disability, and she does a horrible job at it.

The last quarter got a little exciting, but it wasn’t enough to redeem this hot mess.
