The emotions! I love this book dearly. I recently got back into reading, and this was an amazing romantic drama to finish in less than a week. Each chapter keeps you craving the next.
Oh, the suspense of the two love interests never seeming to be on the same page.
And just as you forget that the book takes place in two separate time periods, you’re thrown for a loop halfway through. You’d think that it’d be hard to connect the two parts of the story, but Jojo does it beautifully and seamlessly.

A beautifully romantic read of the upper class, secret affairs, the frustration of never being on the same page, & how life can be funnily full of coincidences.
