I had the pleasure of enjoying this as an audio book, read by the author. She tells beautiful stories and I really enjoy the way that she sees the world. I want to re-read this book in print so I can take better notes but the overall messages include: gratitude, abundance, recognition of the beauty, and both the interconnectedness and autonomy of other beings around us. Our society may have already passed a critical point - it will take all our best effort to rein in the destruction around us and preserve the wonder of the world where we were born by luck and design.
