Keri Lake definitely knows how to deliver an epic gothic romance, I picked up the audiobook and I immediately became invested in this love story that defies everyone and everything.

This book goes between past and present, giving you little pieces of what now are Jericho Van Croix and Farryn.

Farryn has many questions regarding her life, the disappearance of her father and after many strange things happening lately she goes looking for answers but what she finds is literally out of this world in a place named Nightshade

Jericho is feared by many, a half angel half demon, he is an enigma to many including Farryn, but what they can't deny their intense attraction and connection they feel to each other.

There are so many things happening in this story, Keri Lake gave us a phenomenal unique plot with all the dark and gothic vibes, all the feelings on this book, the places and characters she described, there is nothing in this book I didn't enjoy, the only thing I would recommend is to go in bling, trust me there is nothing that will prepare you for this.
