Pluto: Urasawa x Tezuka, Vol. 2 by Osamu Tezuka, Takashi Nagasaki, Naoki Urasawa

4.0

Atom, a boy robot whose sophisticated AI programming seamlessly blurs the distinction between man and machine, starts his own investigation into the serial murders of the great robots of the world. When he discovers that the killer’s motives may be connected with the geopolitical events of the recent past, he realizes that the case is far larger than anyone could have ever imagined.

Am I the only one that sometimes reads comics and is totally like, "I'm not really sure what's going on but I like it?" I hope that's not just me. I have a terrible suspicion that I'm too dense for comics.

The story IS starting to make more sense to me now. It didn't feel nearly as higgledy piggledy to me as volume one so I'm glad to report that was just setting up the story and not me being completely dumb.

Mostly, I love the artwork. It's gorgeous.

I love Atom's character. I saw another reviewer mention that this is astroboy? I haven't read that series so I wouldn't know. Anyway, I find him to be the most intriguing out of all the characters we've met so far.

Ramble, ramble, I'm super sick. I read this, it was good, you should read it, too.
