Didn't love reading it, but in retrospect the aspects that weighed it down for me aren't too bad compared to the heartfelt and introspective story that you'll find sandwiched in-between the basketballs and descriptions of pretty white girls.
Additionally (and maybe more importantly): as a European who still has a lot more to learn about the USA's flavour of prejudice and racism, I found the book to be an interesting and digestable introduction to the struggles of modern native Americans.
