A new take on the tale of Sheherezade. It was an ok story but it didn't really pull me in. One part I didn't understand:

when Keturah was searching for her true love and she used the charm to see if John Temsland was the one - the charm/eye was still and cried... what does that mean? You would think it means he is her true love but then she decides it's not him and chooses Lord Death. Just didn't get that. But, since I didn't really care about any of the characters it didn't really seem to matter who she chose in the end.
