Dirty Rats? by Darrin Lunde

3.0

Dirty Rats? examines the typical responses human have to this animal. Rats are typically seen as dirty, bottom dwelling, disease carrying vermin. While they do inhabit the dirty corners of our world, they also help humans discover cures to diseases and act as a food source for other animals. The illustrations uses easy to read text combined with an explanation of the scientific terms for various kinds of rats. This book would be a great younger/older sibling read. The book also gives a detailed explanation of the different types of rats at the end of the book, along with other resources students can use to study other animals.
